crown – when the two key contenders meet in an elimination clash in Belfast in December. Hamilton is due to defend his WKN world featherweight crown against highly rated English veteran Marty
Cox Jnr in the Waterfront Hall on December 1.

And if he can get past that potential banana skin, he’ll face the victor of the Patrick Kinigimazi versus Alexander White tussle that is set for the promotion undercard.

The pair will meet for the WKN European lightweight crown. Kinigimazi, originally from war-torn Rwanda is a naturalised Swiss fighter. He’s the reigning European champion, while Scot White,
from Aberdeen, is the British champ. There is some previous between Kinigimazi and Hamilton.

The Belfast Boy turned over the hardhitting African in a non-title bout in Kilkenny in 2004. Since then Kinigimazi has moved between kickboxing and professional boxing. He has a spotless boxing
record of 10 fights and 10 victories. White also retains a tough-guy reputation amongst fight fans. Any title decider with Hamilton will come in 2009.
